Saudi-based freelance solutions platform Hurr has announced a new USD 2 million growth initiative, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion and its ambition to build a more integrated ecosystem for freelance and flexible work
The initiative brings together several strategic developments, including the launch of Hurr Sign & Pay, the acquisition of Elherfa, and new partnerships with Khibraty and Future Work, strengthening Hurr’s technology capabilities, talent network, market reach, and range of services
At the center of the expansion is Hurr Sign & Pay, a new AI-powered solution designed to simplify the way businesses and freelancers formalize and complete freelance transactions
Built around a simple WhatsApp-based journey, the solution enables users to move from reaching an agreement to completing a structured transaction, covering AI-assisted contract creation, digital signing, secure payments, invoicing, and documentation
Hurr said the solution is designed to reduce friction throughout the freelance contracting process, making it faster, simpler, and more structured for both businesses and independent professionals
As part of its broader growth strategy, Hurr has also acquired Elherfa, expanding its freelance ecosystem and creating additional opportunities to integrate new talent and capabilities into the Hurr platform
The company is also partnering with Khibraty, a Saudi-Jordanian platform, to broaden access to high-tier freelancers, consultants, and specialized experts, enabling Hurr to address a wider range of business requirements and professional needs
Meanwhile, Hurr’s partnership with Future Work is aimed at strengthening the company’s broader role in supporting the development of flexible work and expanding opportunities for independent talent across Saudi Arabia
The USD 2 million figure represents the estimated strategic and commercial opportunity value associated with Hurr’s combined growth initiatives, including potential market opportunities, transaction value, strategic partnerships, the acquisition, and future business opportunities linked to the company’s expansion
Hurr clarified that the figure does not represent the company’s valuation, funding raised, or recognized revenue
“We believe the future of work is becoming increasingly flexible, and the infrastructure supporting it needs to evolve with it. Our next chapter is about making it easier for companies to access talent, formalize relationships, manage contracts and complete payments. Sign & Pay, our acquisition and our new partnerships are all part of building a stronger and more connected freelance ecosystem,” said Muna Balhamar, CEO of Hurr
With a community of more than 42,000 freelancers spanning over 100 professional fields, Hurr is continuing its evolution beyond a traditional freelance marketplace toward a broader platform offering integrated solutions for accessing, contracting, managing, and paying flexible talent
