Fleuret AI raises €4M to advance AI-powered offensive cybersecurity in Europe
Fleuret AI is developing an agentic AI platform that turns penetration testing into a continuous process, helping companies identify, exploit, prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities as their systems evolve.

French cybersecurity startup Fleuret AI
has raised €4 million in a pre-seed funding round to develop its platform for
automating penetration testing using agentic AI. The round was led by RAISE Ventures, with participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind, Better Angle and
business angels from the cybersecurity sector
Founded by Yanis Grigy (CEO) and Augustin Ponsin (CTO), Fleuret AI is developing a platform designed to turn penetration
testing from a one-off audit into a continuous security process. The platform
is structured around five areas: mapping exposed systems, identifying
vulnerabilities, demonstrating whether they can be exploited, supporting
remediation, and verifying that identified issues have been resolved.
The company is targeting a gap between
the way information systems evolve and how penetration testing is traditionally
conducted. While companies continuously update their systems, penetration tests
are typically carried out as one-off audits, providing a snapshot of security
at a particular point in time. Subsequent deployments can alter the attack
surface shortly after an assessment has been completed.
To address this gap, Fleuret AI is
automating parts of a penetration tester’s work through two AI agents, Emile
and Champollion. The agents map a company’s environment, explore its
applications, APIs and infrastructure, and attempt to exploit identified vulnerabilities.
Each vulnerability is accompanied by proof of compromise intended to
demonstrate whether it can be exploited
The platform then continuously monitors
the attack surface and can initiate additional tests as a company’s systems
change. Fleuret AI is also developing tools to support the remediation process,
including prioritising vulnerabilities based on exploitability, integrating
with technical teams’ existing tools, automatically re-testing systems and
generating reports confirming whether vulnerabilities have been fixed.
We don’t just want to automate
pentesting as it exists today. Our ambition is to build the offensive
cybersecurity layer that will allow companies, whatever their size, to stay
secure all year round. This funding gives us the means to accelerate that vision
and build a platform designed from the ground up for enterprise
environments
said Yanis Grigy, CEO and co-founder of
Fleuret AI
The company is targeting the European
market and aims to make offensive cybersecurity accessible to companies that
may not have the reerated from Europe on European infrastructure, which the company says is
intended to address sovereignty requirements, particularly in highly regulated
sectors
The new funding will be used to expand
Fleuret AI’s team with specialists in AI, software development and offensive
cybersecurity, as well as accelerate development of the platform
