Trois personnes arrêtées dans le cadre du démantèlement d'un réseau de fraude en ligne | The Express Tribune

Three held as online fraud network busted

MAILSI:

Les autorités affirment avoir démantelé un réseau de fraude en ligne opérant depuis des villages proches de Mailsi, et ont arrêté trois membres présumés d'un gang de 14 personnes accusés d'escroquer des victimes au Pakistan et à l'étranger grâce à de fausses arnaques sur les réseaux sociaux.

The operation was carried out by Tibba Sultanpur police, intelligence agencies and the Elite Force during raids in Chak 116/WB and Chak 118/WB

The arrested suspects were identified as Jahangir, son of Yaseen, Muhammad Waseem, son of Ibrahim, and Ejaz, son of Shehzad, all residents of Chak 116/WB

According to a police spokesperson, the suspects were part of an organised 14-member group that allegedly used fake social media accounts to deceive people through various online scams

Investigators said the gang lured victims by offering fake marriage proposals, requesting financial assistance, claiming to send expensive gifts from overseas
