Instructions for everyday tasks

All materials are available free of charge. They cover basic smartphone functions, communication, internet use, device settings, digital services, useful apps and online safety. Users can learn how to make calls, send messages, take photos, install apps, browse websites and change common settings

Instead of technical terminology, the platform uses short visual sequences. A person can select the required topic, their device type and follow the instructions at their own pace. The guides can also be downloaded as PDFs, printed or viewed without an internet connection

Digital Kin explains how to use the beneficiary portal of Cyprus’s national healthcare system, Gesy: find the service, create an account and log in. Separate instructions for JCC Smart are intended to familiarise users with digital payments and online services

A significant part of the materials is devoted to cybersécurité. The platform teaches users to recognise signs of online fraud, avoid sharing personal information, block unknown numbers, create strong passwords and identify fake messages that may appear to come from trusted organisations
