CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES \u2014 Skilled freelancers jumped from 28% to 38% of United States knowledge workers as artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes which work commands premium pay, according to Upwork\u2019s Future Workforce Index 2026<\/p>\n
