Cathay Pacific has launched a social<\/a>-led TikTok campaign titled \u201cOMG, I\u2019ve got to tell you about my flight,\u201d ditching conventional airline marketing to spotlight genuine passenger experiences across the platform<\/p>\n Launched in partnership with Australian agency Kill Boring Dead, the campaign marks a shift away from traditional airline advertising, leaning instead into creator-led storytelling designed to feel native to TikTok<\/p>\n The social-led campaign taps into a simple insight that when a flight experience exceeds expectations, people instinctively want to tell someone about it immediately<\/p>\n Rather than relying on polished brand messaging or scripted talent, the work features nano creators and real Cathay Pacific travellers sharing authentic, first-person reactions , post-flight debriefs, direct-to-camera testimonials and at-home recaps<\/p>\n \u201cWe know younger travellers are incredibly discerning when it comes to the content they engage with, particularly on platforms like TikTok,\u201d Kelly Arnison, travel marketing manager, Oceania at Cathay Pacific, said.\u00a0<\/p>\n MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to\u00a0Cathay Pacific for more information<\/p>\n KBD Co-Founder and CEO, Marcus Willis said the campaign reflected a growing appetite for social creative that behaves more like culture than advertising<\/p>\n The new work adds to a raft of campaigns for Cathay in 2026 as it celebrates its 80th anniversary.
