\nFleuret AI is developing an agentic AI platform that turns penetration testing into a continuous process, helping companies identify, exploit, prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities as their systems evolve.

French cybersecurity startup Fleuret AI
\nhas raised \u20ac4 million in a pre-seed funding round to develop its platform for
\nautomating penetration testing using agentic AI. The round was led by RAISE Ventures, with participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind, Better Angle and
\nbusiness angels from the cybersecurity sector<\/p>\n

Founded by Yanis Grigy<\/a> (CEO) and Augustin Ponsin<\/a> (CTO), Fleuret AI is developing a platform designed to turn penetration
\ntesting from a one-off audit into a continuous security process. The platform
\nis structured around five areas: mapping exposed systems, identifying
\nvulnerabilities, demonstrating whether they can be exploited, supporting
\nremediation, and verifying that identified issues have been resolved.<\/p>\n

The company is targeting a gap between
\nthe way information systems evolve and how penetration testing is traditionally
\nconducted. While companies continuously update their systems, penetration tests
\nare typically carried out as one-off audits, providing a snapshot of security
\nat a particular point in time. Subsequent deployments can alter the attack
\nsurface shortly after an assessment has been completed.<\/p>\n

To address this gap, Fleuret AI is
\nautomating parts of a penetration tester’s work through two AI agents, Emile
\nand Champollion. The agents map a company’s environment, explore its
\napplications, APIs and infrastructure, and attempt to exploit identified vulnerabilities.
\nEach vulnerability is accompanied by proof of compromise intended to
\ndemonstrate whether it can be exploited<\/p>\n

The platform then continuously monitors
\nthe attack surface and can initiate additional tests as a company’s systems
\nchange. Fleuret AI is also developing tools to support the remediation process,
\nincluding prioritising vulnerabilities based on exploitability, integrating
\nwith technical teams’ existing tools, automatically re-testing systems and
\ngenerating reports<\/a> confirming whether vulnerabilities have been fixed.<\/p>\n

\nsecure all year round. This funding gives us the means to accelerate that vision

The company is targeting the European
\nmarket and aims to make offensive cybersecurity accessible to companies that
\nmay not have the reerated from Europe on European infrastructure, which the company says is
\nintended to address sovereignty requirements, particularly in highly regulated
\nsectors<\/p>\n

The new funding will be used to expand
\nFleuret AI’s team with specialists in AI, software development and offensive
\ncybersecurity, as well as accelerate development of the platform<\/p>\n
